On Saturday morning, Chloe and I went to the book festival. Tonight, we walk down to the Labor Day Concert down at the lake. In between, I have stayed home. Not cleaning, not working, not doing (much) busy-work.
Instead, I took the time to dream. To reflect. To consider the future. To read. And I came up with some very interesting ideas. Interesting to me. I’ve written out some goals and some small plans for reaching those goals. Will my weekend off be worth it? Will I follow though? Whether or not I follow though on all of my ideas, I know that the weekend off was worth it. Very worth it.
Sounds mysterious. And very contemplative! How was Dragoncon? And the book festival? We were slackers and haven’t done much. I took Katie and my mom to see “Mama Mia” today. We had so much fun singing along…
Not SO mysterious. Fairly mundane things. But I’m not ready to answer questions yet, so I’m going to keep it to myself for a while, as I keep looking into options.
I didn’t get to DragonCon. Rob and Camille had fun. Next year I’m going to the parade!!! The book fest was okay. Maybe I didn’t get to the right places, but it didn’t excite me much (which is ironic).
I want to go next year, too. Not because I am into any of that stuff at all. I just want to see it. And people watch.
I missed out on DragonCon AND book festival! But we played on the playground, at least 🙂
