The end of another day is here. Gazoo is feeling better, but still not back to herself. She played with Chloe, but didn’t ask to go outside at all. She’s getting around okay, though she’s not quite so eager to jump.
As for preparations, I took care of a lot of my “chores”. Plus we did some extras like take ALL of our books back to the library, return borrowed items, loan promised items and so on. Finally, around 3:30 I was ready to start packing. Clothes was the easy part….we’re not taking very many. Then we gathered food, gifts (nothing major, just pennies and lollipops), electronic items (loaded Sorcerer’s Stone onto the iPod for Chloe), etc.
My work laptop is shut down. Turned off. Really. (I can still check my mail from this laptop, of course.)
Now, I think we are mostly ready!! I’m sure I’ll keep thinking of things as the evening goes on.
