the train didn’t seem to have wireless, so I was off-line for over 24 hours for the first time in quite a while, I think.
We got into Penn Station around 2pm, hopped on the uptown train (after fighting with the machine that would not sell me three subway cards), and got to the Museum of Natural History. We got turned around inside and took some time to get our bearings, but then had a great time, after all. Chloe was tired (who wouldn’t be) and I ended up carrying her bags quite a bit.
From there, we got back on the subway to Rockefeller Center where, of course, we went to American Girl.
We hadn’t eaten lunch (it was now after 5pm) and Chloe was asleep on her feet. We made it down to the subway and got on the F train towards Coney Island, which thankfully meant that we did not have to change trains. Both girls fell asleep on the train. I got them awake to get them off, then they woke enough to walk the eight blocks to the hotel.
I think I would be quite dead on my feet as well. Someone might have to wake me up, too. What did you get at American Girl?? Can’t wait to see what you are going to do next…
Chloe picked out ice skates and Camille picked out a party set. Chloe had considered the bathtub, but I vetoed that. My hands were already full, hauling all our gear around town!!!
