The weather looked like it would rain, so my mom and I headed out for a walk this morning. We were approached by a loose barking dog (grr) and saw lots of flowers. And made it back just before the afternoon drizzle started.

Beautiful! I am guessing that you are still with your mom…which is where?

Yes, we’re still in Blue Ridge. We might go home tomorrow; we’ll see.

I meant to ask – how is the Michael Chabon novel? I have contemplated picking it up. And I saw the “Hindi-Bindi club” at Target yesterday…but again, didn’t pick it up. And how was “The Rosetti Letters?” That one is actually on my shelf.

The Chabon is not one that I can read at night when tired. It will take me some time before I have enough time to read it 🙂

Hidi Bindi was cute and easy. I’ve thought about buying it only because of the recipes. I’m going to look to see if they are online. I was so hungry for good Indian after reading it.

Rosetti Letter was quite interesting, I thought.

I need cute and easy these days. I’m all about the twaddle. Might have to pass on the Chabon one for a bit 🙂 I’ll have to get Hindi-Bindi. Have you read Chabon’s Summerland? It’s a YA novel…I really liked it. Have you all read Nancy Farmer’s Sea of Trolls or the sequel? I haven’t read the sequel…need to put that on my list!

Nope, haven’t read any of them! I’ll put them on my list.
