Today was our big Pine Lake Memorial Day Parade/Cookout/Opening of the Lake/Ice Cream Social! It was the first that we’ve ever been to, and it was exactly as I imagined. Everyone came together for a great day, but we still managed to do it in Pine Lake style, with everyone choosing their own parade route.
The kids had a blast, and I was quite please at how many folks turned out for the commemoration/celebration.
We had such a good time! It was great to see so many people there.
