Today was the last day of our homeschool classes. I know the girls will miss hanging out with their friends, but at the moment I am feeling ‘the fewer commitments, the better’. Unfortunately, we still have some dentist and doctor appointments, but after the 28th, we are totally free until we leave for our big summer adventure! Well, free except for the hundreds of hours of work that I need to do between now and then!!

Unfortunately, the big end of year party at the park was rained out, so the end was anti-climatic. Chloe, at least, got to have a big art show, which she was very excited to do.

Katie is still hoping that they reschedule the picnic. But I am glad classes are over for now. The less I have to do the better…I have truly been in a Spring fog 🙂

When do you all go to Japan? How long will you be there? Purley vacation…or is there work involved?

Me too. I’m happy to be less scheduled right now.

We go to japan in mid-June for 2.5 weeks. Rob is doing some guest-lecture type thing in Okinawa the first week of the trip, but the rest is touring.

Hi! I shall have to ask you about homeschooling when Lilah’s a bit older. We’re not sure what the right choice for us will be, but we’re considering it. I really enjoyed your trip diary! It sounds like a great time.

Anytime you want to chat about homeschooling, let me know.

The NYC trip? It was great fun! We can’t wait until the next one 🙂
