At Target today, we found lots of gardening stuff in the dollar section. The girls picked out some “all-in-one” planting kits, and I picked out some things myself. This afternoon, we worked on planting our flowers, herbs, fruits and veggies (well, I guess tomatoes are technically fruits). How will they do? Only time will tell.

Love planting projects. I’ve never bought the all-in-one stuff for kids…what kind of plants are they? I bet my kids would love that.

BTW, I’ve read Sophie’s World and it’s a great book!

Rhea – I’m slowly getting through Sophie’s World….I really enjoy it, but, for it, I need more concentration to read than I usually have in the bedtime hours!

We planted an herb mix (basil and chives?), a wildflower mix, some lavender, tomatoes, strawberries, mini-sunflwoers, and other fun stuff… fingers crossed that something will germinate!

Now that sounds like my kind of gardening…might have to pick some up next time I’m at Target! My problem is that I have lovely ideas…but I have a problem getting to the end goal.

I have the Rosetti letters in my TBR pile. What did you think of “Water for Elephants?”

We haven’t had much luck with the Target all-in-one before, but our new house is sunnier than the old one.

I really enjoyed “Water for Elephants” as a light read. I need more like that. Please hand some to me on Thursday (if you have any) so I can get a break from “Sophie’s World” 🙂 I’ll give you the Rossetti Letters in trade.

I will scan my shelves to see what I can give you. But…I get most of my books from the library. Actually the Rosetti letters is already here on my shelf…one of the rare times I bought a book. What about “Gods Behaving Badly?” Do you like funny books? Smutty books?

Okay. I too rarely buy new books for myself, but books like to come overand stay. My mom gathers them from yard sales and gives them to me, there’s the free box at LEAD, and then we have the mighty book swap shelf at the beach house! On occasion, like when stuck in an airport, I will end up buying a book…
