One of my favorite things to do at the beach is to watch the sun come up over the horizon. This morning, I woke with the sun. The clouds rolled in as the sun came up, making today’s sunrise very different from yesterday’s.
A little later in the morning, the girls and I drove down to the public beach where there was a bit more sand than the beach in front of our room. The girls had a great time jumping in the waves, taking mud baths and seeing what they could find in the waves. I don’t know how they knew, but the seagulls were sure that we had food with us. Miles of empty beach, and all the birds around came and sat down as close to our blanket as they dared.
