Excuses, excuses.
Even as homeschoolers, we’ve been busy with end-of-the-year stuff…Then there’s the kids’ music concerts we’ve been going to. And our “curiousity killed the cat” cat that’s been at the vet for two days now (and probably two more) from some injury, probably due to clumsiness and, of coure, curiosity.
Then of course, is the big event, our move! It’s been long and dragged out, at least from here. We started moving two months ago (stuff to a storage unit near the new house) and are now approaching crunch time. We should close next Tuesday (while I’m in Colorado, of course). Then the movers for the big furniture come Wednesday. Then we have 1.5 weeks to empty this house…yikes! I’ve been getting the girls to weed out their stuff, and that has gone fairly well.
The new house is coming along very well. I haven’t been out since Saturday when we parked at the house and walked up to a concert at the clubhouse.
Soon, soon, it will be our house. I’m giddy with anticipation.
