I’m incompetent at tattooing. I don’t mean real tattoos with needles. I mean the removable tattoos that the kids get as “prizes” and “gimmes”. The tattoos are better than candy and junkies, but I don’t know how to apply them.
I forget to take off the plastic so the tattoo sticks to the cover. I don’t wait long enough and only half the tattoo sticks. And then I let my kids walk around with a “half-tattoo” for days. Here Chloe is sporting half of an Ernie and Neal tattoo that I put on very badly a week and a half ago in Brooklyn.
Chloe spotted her new friend (co-host of ) sporting various tattoos, and always one to go along with the crowd, had to have some herself. The Slimothy the Eel tattoo never even stuck. The Ernie and Neal one was half on. She wanted me to try again, but I told her no, it is time to get on stage with Princess Katie. That was good enough for her.
