We slept in a little, then Rob packed and we all headed out to brunch at The General Muir. From there, we took Rob to the airport. At home, we did some chores, then Camille went over to Claire’s. Chloe was feeling sick, so we watched movies and worked on the jigsaw puzzle.

Work and school. The girls and I walked across the street and bought a jigsaw puzzle. Chloe, Rob and I went to Cook’s Warehouse and bought a new pan. We then went and got a pizza for dinner. Rob and the girls went to a late movie.

Work and school. I met Shawne at Victory for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, Camille and I picked up Chloe at the pool because she didn’t feel well, took her home, and then we went to the Book Nook for comics. At home, we made soup, cupcakes, and lemonade, then watched “The Book Thief”.

Work and school. Midday, I picked Camille up from the high school and took her to the doctor. It is so much easier to have the girls’ doctors here in Decatur! Chloe walked to her flute lesson. Rob and I went to the high school for curriculum night. Chloe made scalloped potatoes for dinner.

Rob made the various kids a big breakfast, then went to get his rental car. I took care of various things around the house. Chloe and Jane made cupcakes. Phil and Barbara came, and Chloe and Barbara went to the mall with Jane and her grandma. We had a little party for Phil’s birthday.

A day of work and school. The girls brought home friends – we had 11 kids and me here for a while. Some kids left, others came, and some more adults arrived for the game night.

While we mostly concentrated on seeing the “ancient” side of Athens in our short time there, we did manage to see some of the modern side. Unfortunately, that included protests and a car bomb near our hotel.

what’s this morning feeling?
For the first time in what seems like years, I woke this morning without an overwhelming feeling of exhaustion. Even though I could have slept for another hour, I “jumped” out of bed and started my day. As I had such an early start, I had a few moments to contemplate this burst of energy.
