photo friday: Little White House
A couple weekends ago, we camped for two freezing nights at FDR State Park, just south of Atlanta.
While there, we visited Callaway Gardens, but even more interesting was our time at the “Little White House”. Until last month, I had no idea, really, that FDR spent time in Georgia and certainly didn’t realize that he had died, while president, in a small Georgia town where he had a home. Apparently, he spent lots of time in Warm Springs, taking advantage of the therapeutic nature of the, well, warm springs.
Both girls found the museum, movie and the self-guided tour through the small house to be interesting. Chloe really enjoyed the scavenger hunt that was handed to her when we first arrived. Having a mission to complete kept her interest level and absorption quite high. Unfortunately, we did not have time to stop for a tour at the pools in town.
This is an entry for Delicious Babyโs Photo Friday.

Camping in the winter? No wonder it was freezing! You’re very brave.
