Back in April when we were in the Bahamas for my sisters’ wedding, we didn’t have much time for exploring as tourists. One afternoon, we drove east and visited Lucayan National Park.
The next day, we took a ride out to the western end of the island. On the way out, we stopped at Paradise Cove to look for a geocache, but there were too many muggles around. Nonetheless, we liked what we saw and decided to stop in on the way back for lunch on the patio at the beach.
I loved the laid back simplicity and ocean view so much that the next day, I brought Rob and the girls back out for a pre-flight lunch. I would loved to have been able to spend a couple days there — snorkeling, boating, eating, relaxing. Very much my idea of a beach vacation!
