Photo Friday: Ballooning Cappadocia
While we were in Turkey this summer, we signed up for a two-day tour of Cappadocia. While I don’t like tour bus tours in general, this seemed to be our best option to get out to Cappadocia and see the surreal landscape.
One thing that disappointed me about choosing the tour option was that I had really hoped to have the chance to take the girl up in a hot air balloon while we were there. I shouldn’t have worried. We were offered the chance, and despite the 4:45am bus pickup (after a midnight return from the Whirling Dervishes), I jumped at it.
I am SO glad that we went. The ride and experience were amazing. The whole family had a wonderful time riding in a sixteen passenger basket as the sun rose over the fairy chimneys and pigeon holes.
This is an entry for Delicious Baby’s Photo Friday.

Well, if I’m gonna have a hot air balloon ride, this is definitely one of the view I want to see! ๐
