Review Promise – Present poster
Girl Scout Promise and Sign
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
Review the GS Law
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
What does it mean to be “responsible for what I say and do”?

Activity:
We were going to play a Game about responsibility. Two buckets, one says “responsible”, the other says “not responsible”. Split girls into two teams. Hand each team a pile of balls or other objects (one for each situation to be read by leader). Read a slip of paper about something someone does, team decides whether the person is being responsible or not, and runs to put a ball in the right bucket.
But the girls were really not interested, so we did some art projects instead.
