Arts in the Park
Blue Ridge . Events Article
Yesterday we went down to the Arts in the Park festival. It was nice to see that gas prices did not keep the crowds away. There were lots of people there and more artists than ever! Unfortunately, it appeared that the only people making money were those who were selling food. I hope that wasn’t the case, but it seemed that not many people were buying the art this year. I hope that the artists sold enough to make it worth their time and that they will be back in force next year.

Arts in the Park looks awesome. I love local art festivals. Are those sun catchers? What beautiful colors. How I wish I could paint or create pottery or do something really artistic.
The photo is of wind chimes made from flattened and painted baby food jars. They were very bright! DH seemed to like the Georgia Tech one, but nope, that’s too weird. Yellow and black aren’t for me.
Flattened and painted baby food jars? That’s soo cool! I really like them.
