Dining – Hotel Room Style
After we arrived here, I realized that our dinner choices were non-existant. Unforutunately, our room has no kitchen, no microwave. It does have a fridge and a coffeepot, however. At the little IGA, we stocked on bread, peanut butter, jelly, carrots, fruit, yogurt, milk and cereal. But what for dinner? There were no baguettes, no nice cheese, no humus, nada. We would not have our standard “European picnic dinner.” The store also didn’t have premade chef boayardee stuff, but they did have Kraft Easy Mac. No microwave? No problem. I ran water through the coffee pot and poured that in the cups! After it cooled, I drained the water and did it once more, and voila! We had mac-n-cheese for dinner… And what’s more, we now had bowls for our breakfast cereal!
