photo friday: the high line
In my huge “notes” document, I keep a list of things I want to see, organized by city. Whenever I come across something interesting, I jot it down. NYC’s High Line had been added to the list about 4 times in the past couple of years, so I knew it had to be the top of to-see places when we headed to the Big Apple in April.
We arrived at the south end of this new(ish) park built on an old elevated freight line and climbed up the stairs. I had expected it to be be overly crowded since it was a lovely Sunday evening, but luckily it wasn’t. Camille and I walked from the south end (10th street) to the noth end (30th street), enjoying all the art installations, views and gardens. We took breaks on benches, enjoying the beautiful spaces.
A lovely, lovely addition to NYC. I’m so glad that we were able to finally get there and experience it for ourselves.
This is an entry for Delicious Babyโs Photo Friday.
