As I slowly emerge from my cocoon, I am also getting back to my volunteering. At the Red Cross. In managing our building’s YahooGroup. In assisting with the neighborhood association. And now for CAPS (Citizens Assisting Public Safety). This weekend, I have two events on my calendar. A 5K race this morning. And the Lantern Parade last night.

The Lantern Parade is one of my favorites. Creative designs, happy kids, and after dark, so not too hot. Look at all those people just happy to be here and living life to the fullest!
