Today is Valentine’s Day.

I managed to sleep in a little, and now feel caught up at work, at home, and with sleep. During the morning, I did laundry, cleaned, took care of projects, and packed. Rob went out to get bagels for breakfast. Camille sorted notes and packed. Flannery came over to hang out with Chloe and go to Grace’s party with Chloe. Camille and I finally left at 1pm. We stopped at Target on the way to get an umbrella and other things. As we approached Winston-Salem, it started to snow. By the time we got to the hotel, the streets were covered and slippery. We checked into our (haunted) hotel … our room is HUGE! We then ventured out across the street to find dinner. The Italian restaurant was fully booked up. The Mexican one told us they were closing, but let us in when they heard we were at the hotel. We ate fast so as to not delay their leaving. Camille and I hung out in the room after dinner.

• Ate at Senor Bravo.
• Spent the night at the Historic Brookstown Inn.
