book report: 23 feb 2016
Yet again, no new books this week still dealing with a large pile from three weeks ago. When will I get the chance to read again? I’ve been putting on lots and lots of miles in the car this week, looking at colleges. Not much time for reading. We did listed to a few podcasts, but Camille seems to prefer music.
This week, I finished reading some easy reads:
- The Vintage Caper by Peter Mayle
- The Woman Who Walked in Sunshine: No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency (16) by Alexander McCall Smith
And I started reading another easy read:
- The Marseille Caper by Peter Mayle
I will continue to read these … And hope that I can renew those that are library books next week, as I surely won’t finish.
- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
- The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain
Still have The Old Ways: A Journey on Foot by Robert Macfarlane on my bedside table. I *really* want to get to this one. I need to stop ordering books from the library!!!!
I am still slowly making my way through The College Solution: A Guide for Everyone Looking for the Right School at the Right Price (2nd Edition) by Lynn O’Shaughnessy.
Now that we are just about done with our first pass of looking at colleges, I will declare that I’m done with Colleges That Change Lives: 40 Schools That Will Change the Way You Think About Colleges by Loren Pope.
I keep a list of completed books on Goodreads. I also keep one here on my blog.
