Today is National Banana Cream Pie Day and Namesake Day and Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
Kroger did not have a Banana cream pie, and I was not ready to make one. So no celebrating today for us.
Apart from my usual work and cleaning, I moved ahead on my household and personal projects. I planted the new herbs for the dining room windows and went through my shoes. For someone who wears the same 3-4 pairs of shoes everyday, I was surprised to see that I have almost TWENTY pairs of shoes. I am donating three pairs I’ve rarely worn and planning to decide if all THREE pairs of Keen’s I have are still good. I had been planning to buy another pair, but I’ll hold off until I decide if the three pairs I have are all dead.
Decided to use our farm box tofu, green bell peppers and greens by making a “General Tso’s Tofu” and stir fry for dinner.
I again moved ahead with my 1001 Movies Project and watched #410, My Fair Lady.
