Today is National Banana Bread Day and National Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day.

I baked banana bread and made cabbage (farm box!), potato (farm box!), leek soup. I then made lasagna and a salad for dinner too.

Started reading I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai with Christina Lamb.

Finished this week’s New Yorker. I especially liked Holy Writ: Learning to love the house style. and The Cabaret Beat: A débutante to the rescue in the Harold Ross era..

Chloe thought I was nuts when she asked what I was doing : “Ordering myself an Eiffel Tower.”
