decatur: friday night lights

Despite having lived in Decatur three blocks from the stadium for three years now, I hadn’t been to a high school football game. Despite having a student at the high school, I haven’t been. But now I have a band student — and so now I’ve been to a game.

I was surprised, actually. Surpised because I didn’t hate it. I actually had a good time. Not that I’d go every week. But if I’m home, and I don’t have anything else to do, and Chloe is going to be in the band, then just maybe I’ll go again.
