atlanta: beltline lantern parade

Continuing on with my theme of getting out of the house on Saturday, we decided to battle the crowds (or join in the crowds) and attend the Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade.

The threatening weather held off, and we found ourselves a nice spot near the O4W Park. Alas, the parade was very long and we had four girls who were getting tired or hungry or bored, so we left after about half the parade had gone by – but we had seen plenty to have enjoyed it! Our early departure also allowed us to escape the mad rush to leave and got us first in line at Zesto’s for a cooldown, post-parade snack. Best to quit while you’re ahead, right?
