MODA: Design for Social Impact
While I feel negligent for not having made it to Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) earlier, I’m glad we made it when we did. I had in my mind that I needed to get the girls to the Design for Social Impact exhibit, but I also had it in my mind that it was closing on the 25th.
But no, it was closing the day we went — the 3rd.
And I’m so thrilled we went. These three girls of mine (one is my bonus child whom I like to claim, but isn’t mine) are all amazing. They know design. And they know helping others. I can only hope that the exhibit go their creative minds flowing. And thinking.
How can we make a difference in the world with some simple changes in design? It doesn’t take too much … just a little thinking outside the box — and one big takeaway — truly understanding the needs of others. Designing without understanding the real issues is a terrible idea.
