things i like: my new embosser
For years, I’ve wanted an embosser. I could imagine putting my seal on all my books, papers, letters and more. But first, a family seal was needed. As part of our Summer 2013 Passport of Fun, I included creating a family seal. Not only for my embosser, but also to order a stamp in order to try out letterboxing, an activity similar to geocaching.
With 3D printers being all the rage these days, I thought it would be trivial to find a service to create a custom embosser for us. I was wrong. Any website that claimed to make custom embossers allowed me to create a custom embosser only if I specified the text and chose from their images (if they even offered images). After much searching, I came across , who actually did let us upload our image. A bit expensive, but I’ve been hankering after it for years, so I’m glad to finally cross that item off my wish list!
Now, onto embossing all my books! And maybe to buy some nice seals to emboss. And, and, and….
