photo friday: a few hours in washington, dc

I was so happy that day back in July when a Rumpus Room invitation came in my email – a concert that coincided perfectly with our roadtrip up to Cape Cod! It had been such a long time since the last time we were able to attend a concert at XM!

Instead of planning to spend a long time in one of our favorite cities, we made a quick stop and chose one museum — the National Museum of American History. In the few blocks it took us to walk to the museum, we melted. First order of business was ice cream! The a turn through some of our favorite exhibits. The off to our favorite eatery in DC — Au Bon Pain. And, at last, my happy place – XM.
