photo friday: cherokee, nc
While up at the cabin for Thanksgiving, I had hoped to visit a number of historical sites. In the end, we only visited a few, but we did make it back to Cherokee, NC to visit the Museum of the Cherokee Indian.
While Camille greatly enjoyed the exhibits, Chloe was only happy once we hit the gift shop. (I have faith that one day she’ll enjoy these trips too.) ONce we were out, Chloe started melting with hunger. I caved and got her a snack at a gas station. We then headed tot he north end of town and stopped in at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. While Chloe and I sat in rocking chairs enjoying the view, my parents, Rob and Camille went off to explore the Mountain Farm Museum and Mingus Mill.
I’d love the chance to get back and explore the park a whole lot more some time.
This is an entry for Delicious Babyโs Photo Friday.
