Living “downtown” means that we can often go “carless”. Today Camille and I donated books, went to lunch, hung concert posters, donated “gently used” shoes, bought a book, donated CDs to and checked books out from the library, bought groceries and looked into the possibility of her selling her Camboodle pouches at a local boutique. In the evening, I went to my “Citizens’ Police Academy” class at the police station. All without ever getting into the car.
