photo friday: cherohala parkway
North Carolina . photo friday . Tennessee Article
A few weeks back when we spent the weekend up in Blue Ridge, the whole family went out for a drive after breakfast. Even though Rob has been on many a “drive” with us, he still seems surprised when the drive turns out to be a multi-state one. This time, we headed to the Cherohala Skyway, a beutiful drive in the Smoky Mountains of NC and TN. Alas, the smoky part was not an “illusion” but real, based ont he strong, acrid smell that we encountered.
(A side note: I couldn’t remember or how to spell the name of the skyway until my dad pointed out that it is a portmanteau of Cherokee and Nantahala, the two National Forests that it crosses through.)
This is an entry for Delicious Babyโs Photo Friday.

Good thing there wasn’t too much traffic in that parking lot!
Ten seconds after they jumped up, a fast little Porsche flew into that spot … we were laughing so hard !!
