moving and downsizing is exhausting enough

But add a semi-annual release on top, and I’m ready to collapse.

I’ve fallen behind on just about everything. I’m forgetting things. It isn’t good.

But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We are mostly moved in, just a few more pieces of IKEA furniture to assemble. We have longer-term projects left to complete like shelving in the laundry room and fan/light fixtures to buy and install. There is artwork and a mirror left to be hung.

We are somewhat moved out, but still need to tackle the garage and storage room. This will get more urgent if we manage to sell or rent the house quickly.

The major push to get the release done is past. There will be some work left to do, but it is now manageable.

Chloe is adjusted to school and can take the bus both ways most days.

When we return from LEAF on Sunday, there are no more trips scheduled until next April. We can start to enjoy our new lifestyle living on the square in Decatur. I am so looking forward to it and to getting back to my happiness project as well.
