spring is in the air!

While we were camping this weekend, the temperatures dipped below freezing one night. Long johns and warm sleeping bags kept us (well, me at least) nice and toasty!

Today, the doors are opened wide to let in the sounds, smells and fresh breezes of spring! With the house as organized as it has been in a long time and two (mostly) happy girls working on homeschooling, chatting and drawing, I’m greatly enjoying being at home for a change. Usually while at home, I feel lots of (self-initiated) pressure to be getting a million things done.

Today is more of a putter around the house kind of day, thanks to our flurry of activity yesterday. I wonder how I can get this “promise of spring” feeling to stay?
