Photo Friday: New Orleans Riverfront Park
Louisiana . Parks and Farms . photo friday Article
On our first night and then our first morning in New Orleans we wandered along in Woldenberg Park, along the Mississippi between Canal Street and Cafe du Monde. On Sunday evening, the girls danced in the bandstand, Barbara geocached, I took photos…until the storm finally reached us.
Monday, the girls and I walked along, enjoying all the sunshine. The park visitors seems to be an equal mix of exercising tourists and homeless people soaking in the sun. All in all, a nice place to visit to see the river, look at some art and be outside.
This is an entry for Delicious Baby’s Photo Friday.

The photo of the sculpture with the storm sky is so evocative. I can feel the heavy Louisiana air!
I’ve only been to New Orleans when it’s dripping, drenching hot. Stormy looks nice.
Love wandering around the Riverfront Park with kids…it is free fun! We normally grab to go beignets from Cafe du Monde and walk up there. So fun!
