dinner – 10 mar 2011
Camille made much of tonight’s dinner, which I modified from the “menu planner”. I didn’t use store-bought garlic bread but made our own. I used whole-wheat pasta and fresh broccoli. I’m finding it very easy to make the processed recipes into more wholesome … I hope I can continue to make minor adjustments….
lesson learned
The girls get a (virtual) weekly allowance. Allowance at our house is not tied to chores, though on rare occasions I have been known to fine the girls when certain rules have been broken, most notably CDs and DVDs not getting put away. I’ve considered fining for gum wrappers on the floor and apple cores
Seeing: Audubon Zoo
We woke on our last morning in New Orleans to a freezing, windy day. After I had worked a bit and had rescued the car from its garage, the girls and I checked out of the hotel and drove down St Charles to the Audubon Zoo (and they all ask’d for you.) The dramatic change
