Travel Tuesday: Weekly Highlights for 8 Feb 2011

Despite having been home a week now, I’m still struggling to stay caught up, and, oops, yes, I didn’t get this posted until Wednesday afternoon despite having started it on Tuesday….. But I love what I’ve been reading out there on the web, and I’d love to share my highlights with you.

Here are some of my favorites from the week:

  What with you discuss with a group of Buddhist monks if you had the chance?

• Inhaling Kenya by Train
  What a train ride! Makes me want to go right now!

• 1 Dad, 1 Kid, 1 Crazy Adventure: Temple of the Sun King
  As many times as I’ve taken the kids to Paris, I have not yet gotten them to Versailles. Next rip, I will!

• the little hip traveller: Hip London finds…
  The girls love the NY Transit Museum so much that I will have to add this museum to our list!

• Mother of All Trips: The Oxford University Museum of Natural History
  What a fun place! I know that my girls would love to go there…. now to work on getting us to England sometime soon!!

• Two Kids and A Map: Dreaming of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
  My kids are *begging* me to take them back to Myrtle Beach — I’ll have to figure out when we can go too ….
