Travel Tuesday: Weekly Highlights for 15 Feb 2011

Having been home for almost two whole weeks now, I’m finally feeling caught up at home, at work and on the web! I love what I’ve been reading out there on the web, and I’d love to share my highlights with you.

Here are some of my favorites from the week:

• WanderMom: Child Lost in the Jungle in Laos
  This story brought tears to my eyes! I’m so glad that everything turned out just fine in the end!!

• Kids and Castles: Sabbaticals are the Mother of Invention
  I love how resourceful and creative this family has been during their stay in France! It reminds me of the time we made mac in cheese in the coffee maker in a hotel room!

• Travels with a Nine Year Old : 5 Documents No Single Parent Should Travel Without
  Great advice! In addition, when I travel with my kids and my mom, I prepare a letter signed by me and my husband giving my mother permission to act as guardian if necessary — if something happened to me or I wasn’t available, I hope it would save her some hassles.
