what i learned today

meaning of life:

• I rarely watch videos shared on facebook, but this video was shared by so many of my friends that I was compelled to watch, and am glad that I did.
• I realized today, in this Note from LAFTI, that one of the directors of LAFTI is an author whose book And the Skylark Sings With Me was inspirational when I was first starting to homeschool the girls.

pine lake:

• The traffic blinding bush in the Ingles parking lot along Rockbridge is gone. Safer left turns-R-Us!
• Ale Yeah! in Decatur is now open.

randomness:
