It comes and goes. I’ve renewed my commitment to blog. I don’t have any grand illusions that anyone stops by my blog very often. It gets quite boring here, I know. I bore myself. I often fall into a zone of just doing enough to cross the item off the list instead of putting a little bit more time and effort in.

Part of my reflections have made me see that I miss sitting down and thinking about different ideas and working through why I feel as I do about something and considering if there is another path that might be more satisfactory. To that end, I’m going to give myself a little more time each day for considering and reflecting, in hopes that I won’t feel so much like I’m spending the days treading water.

This week, I’ve been giving myself a little more time for each blog entry, and I find that the extra effort makes a difference.
