walking in Paris
France Article
We didn’t get started until late, since we had stayed up so late. We decided to walk up to Rue Mouffetard and see the shops there. We then headed through the nice plaza and down some stairs to the Arena Lacepte, an ancient Roman arena where people play soccer on sunny weekend afternoons. The girls wanted to go to the catacombs, so we took the train down there, but the line was huge. We found a nice creperie and had some lunch, but the line was still way too long. We decided not to stay and went home for a nap before going to the zoo across the street. From the zoo, Barbara headed out for her walking tour. The girls and I headed back home, so we could get lots of sleep before our big day!
