Vorey to Roissy
I woke early from being too cold! I could tell that we were in the mountains! The light was fantastic, too. Everyone else slept a bit later, so I read for a while. There were not many people in the restaurant for breakfast, so it was quite relaxing. We did run out of coffee and also the milk wasn’t good, so we were pests. After breakfast, we headed over to the open air market. Though it took quite a long time for Chloe to choose (what else is new), both girls managed to choose new crocs.
We checked out and started to drive towards Paris, but the fumes from the crocs were so toxic that three of us started to feel really sick. So we stopped to store them in the trunk. The trip to the autoroute was pretty, but the autoroute was boring. And Chloe got bored and made it hard for everyone. We stopped at a rest area with a bouncy tent, which the girls enjoyed. As we got close to Paris, our gas started to get low, and the service station on the highway had no diesel. Fortunately, traffic in Paris was not too bad, and we made it to the airport gas station. The car return went well, and we found the hotel bus. The bus driver didn’t help us load the bags, which was hard with my bad knee and after a long day of driving.
We checked in at the hotel and walked into the village of Roissy en France (not really much to see). When we got back, the girls and I went down to the pool. I couldn’t get Orange to accept my credit card, so I used Rob’s Boingo account instead. We ordered room service for dinner and watched Harry Potter in French.
