playing in Paris
In the morning, Barbara went out to her meeting. The girls and spent some time getting ready, then headed out to La Villette. We wandered over to the canal and were disappointed to see that the Dragon
Slide was closed off. The geode in front of the museum really impressed Chloe! We crossed the canal and the kids went on the carousel. They chose to ride in the rocket ship, but it didn’t move up and down like they thought it would, which was sad. We then went to see the big playground! It was so hot out and the sun was beating down, so we didn’t stay too long, but the kids got to use the zip line, bounce and more. After that, it was time for an Italian ice! We wandered around La Villette a bit, but it seemed that all the other playgrounds were closed. We got on the metro, but had too switch lines becuas the train was just too HOT!
We ended up at the Louvre, and from there we walked through the Tuileries. The kids played in the playground and then on the trampolines. It was midafternoon at that point, so we decided to have lunch at a restaurant in the park. Barbara and her friends decided to join us there. From there, Barbara, the girls and I walked to the Eiffel Tower and then took the train home. We had a nice dinner in the apartment, but the girls and I stayed up way too late.
