Day in Monaco
Barbara and Chloe went out to get some bread. While out, they stopped at the playground. After breakfast, while Suze and I were getting ready to go out for the day, Barbara took the girls out to the toy store across the street. We then all quickly headed to the bus station and jumped on a very full bus to Monaco. We mostly had to stand the whole way, but it only cost us four euros.
We walked up the hill to the palace, but my leg was really hurting. The girls bickered over their Orangina, which put me in a very foul mood. Things got better when we found a playground and Suze found the tourist train. We took the little sightseeing train ride around Monaco, then went to a nice restaurant for lunch. We took our time and relaxed. Camille decided to get some ice cream, but Chloe preferred to hold off for ice cream until we got back to Nice. We found the return bus stop, but the first bus that came filled up before we could get on. We managed to get on the next one, but again, we had to stand for much of the trip.
Suze, Chloe and Barbara headed out to get groceries when we got back. After snacks and drinks, Barbara, Suze and the girls headed out to explore and found some cool marzipan creations and lots of other fun things. I enjoyed sitting back and reading.
