Touring at XMKids
As I’ve written before, one of my favorite places to visit is XM Radio in Washington DC. The building is a very cool brick building, giving off the feel of old factory space (I haven’t found a history of the building, but one page suggested that it had been a printing company. Along with that, I see lots of references to a rat problem — hope they’ve solved that one.)
After the Ralph’s World concert last Friday, we hung around afterwards and Mindy gave us a fun tour of the building. We went by all the broadcasting booths, and even got to go inside the XMKids one. The girls got to sit in the chair and play with the sound board, though Chloe was too scared to touch it. We loved looking at all the posters and toys that were in the little room. Mindy also took us by their desks, showing us how she helped to decorate Robbie’s desk for him.
Thanks, Mindy!
