There’s a City Here Too
kindie Article
Today after girl scouts, we drove about five minutes to downtown Atlanta. I don’t think I have been down to Centennial Park since before the aquarium was built! There are museum, playgrounds, outdoor concerts and more going on down there. Pretty neat space! The playground was tons of fun, but the girls started to get hot, so we headed over to the fountain. Soaked in minutes.
The main reason for our excursion was to meet up with a performer who was in town from Seattle. It was great to meet Eric Ode, and I was glad for the excuse to go downtown.

There’s a playground by the Olympic fountains?! I have never taken the girls down there. We need to do that sometime. And we ought to go and find our bricks that we bought…
Where did you park?
There are two really nice playgrounds on the aquarium side of the park.
I took the easy route and parked at the World of Coke garage. Easy in and easy out.
Bring swimsuits and towels if you go.
