Girl Scout Cookies
It’s that time. Rob went and picked up our cookies from the house of our “cookie mom”. Camille had presold 40 boxes, and I tacked on 100 boxes to her order, figuring we would sell them here in our village or at Rob’s work. That’s a big cash outlay, but I’m sure we’ll sell them. Assuming the girls don’t eat them! (I did hear a story of such a case this week!)
The girls and I loaded up the wagon and tried, multiple times, to deliver the cookies to our neighbors that had pre-ordered their cookies. I felt the need to get those cookies to their appropriate people, as we are headed out for a little trip tomorrow. And a couple days after we get back, I’m headed out of town for two weeks.
After a few hours of circling the city, we eventually got most of the cookies delivered.
The good news is that we ended up selling a lot of the extra cookies as we made our rounds, which was really cool. But matching up cookies to people was a little frustrating, so I think in the future we will just order a bunch ahead of time and not take pre-orders. We’ll see.
