indian summer
Today more than made up for yesterday. It was a gorgeous day. Apart from an early morning dentist appointment for me (easy go, no need to go back for six months), we had nothing that needed to get done…it was a holiday at my company and we tend to not have activities on Friday to
what’s that face?
Camille really did enjoy Young Sprouts today… I have no idea what this face was about. It is my face for today after most things that could go wrong did, including a live electrical wire down on the main artery from here to where we needed to go. Bah.
camille’s hair wrap
Camille had her final jazz class of the year today. Here’s a closeup of the hairwrap that she did herself earlier. She put some in my hair too. She’s also agreed to cut Rob’s hair for him…
crazy girl
Chloe has worn out both Camille and me. I can’t even string words together tonight. Everything I say she contradicts. She has refused to help with anything and has demanded that everything be her way today. It’s very tiring.
Fids and Kamily
Have you heard the news? Not yet? Well, go have a look at the Fids and Kamily – Kids and Family Music Awards. The votes are due tomorrow, but we’ve submitted ours tonight. There were so many great albums from which to choose, that we had a really hard time picking our favorites!
toddler fashions
I admit, I don’t follow fashions. I have no clue. I wear what’s comfortable and easy to buy. Cotton is prefer, usually in subdued colors. Chloe also follows her own style. The nurse at the pediatrician asked if Chloe could dress herself. I responded “Um, look at her, what do you think?”
Hi Ho Hi Ho
No photos today. I spent the entire day holding a rake or a broom, not a camera. We did take a break from leaf moving and bathroom destructing to go to Lowe’s, where I bought 6 hostas for $1 each, 3 $20 trees for $3 each, and a $25 Chinese dogwood (if I remember well,
overwhelming
I spent most of the day raking leaves in the backyard. I created huge mounds of leaves. The girls had a great time jumping. I would have felt great, except that looking up, I can’t even tell which tree has lost any leaves. I’m in for a long fall.
c is for cactus
Chloe’s class at the botanical garden was about the desert. Chloe wanted to know who took a bite out of this plant. Later, she did get to try a taste of a prickly pear cactus (the “hip”, I think, not a “pad”), and she really liked it.
autumn
It’s not a great fall photo, but what can you do when you’ve got two kids who can’t wait to get into dance class to see their friends. In the end, Chloe was disappointed because her friend (another tag-a-long) wasn’t there. Camille found out that the jazz program will be putting on Annie. Not only
