Oh man, is it ever hot?? I had the doors open for about 30 minutes this morning before I gave up. We packed our bags and headed for the mountains. The temps went down twenty degrees and grandma even has a little pool set up. We are all much cooler now.

Who knew? Chloe has spent hours and hours and hours playing with this rope hanging from the beams on the screened-in porch at the cabin. She ties knots, she swings, she climbs. My little monkey.

After Chloe came home from her sleepover, she and Rob went our skating then stopped at Target, since a birthday gift card was burning a hole in her pocket. She was thrilled to find the Lego set that she wanted, Hogwarts Express” on clearance! The girls started to put it together at home, but then
