photo-a-day 2020
In the past, I posted a photo a day to picasa … the past few years I’ve sometimes posted a photo a day to instagram, but not always. Nevertheless, I am still taking a photo a day, more or less. Sometimes I cheat a little. If I miss taking a photo, I’ll take a photo
planning
Goodbye 2020! Today, I completed my 2020 Passion Planner. When I purchased this planner last year, I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it (I’ve tried using planners before with no luck). Taking time out to not just write down my goals and steps to reach those goals, but also giving myself freedom to decorate

books in 2020
Another year, another long list! My goal was 120 for the year, and I got to 126 (plus three or four books that I re-read ….) I had thought that maybe with COVID, I’d have surpassed my 2019 count by leaps and bounds, but that’s not the case. I think work takes a lot of
celebrate 2021!
Maybe it is strange to think about celebrations in these crazy times. I wrote about this five years ago, in celebrate! But maybe it is time to revisit why I continue with this silly project…. Now that I have been doing this for, oh, seven years, I have built up a list of holidays along

winter gardening.
Last spring, Chloe build some garden beds in the backyard and planted some plants that attract pollinators. In addition, I put in some veggies. While the garden didn’t get much love after I left for the Cape, the tomato plants are continuing to produce new fruit! I doubt they’ll make it through the winter, but
phizzy’s four!
Phelicity is 4 months old! She’s getting so big! Phelix is starting to accept her, and the two are trying to figure out how to play together in the yard. Benny and Phizzy have epic wrestling matches. Phizzy isn’t a fan of going for walks and runs to me whenever something scares her. She hates
moments of quiet.
For the past year, I’ve not had much in the way of peaceful moments. I’ve either been overwhelmed and axious or have felt guilty when taking any time for myself to read and rest. There have been very few moments of peacefulness. I have decided that I need to give myself a break and have
