gymnastics meet!
This past weekend, Chloe ahd her very first gymnastics meet! And, luckily for her, it was at her gym, so she didn’t have far to go or use equipment that she’s not used to. While I arrived at the gym around 7am, Chloe didn’t need to be there until after 10. Her coaches performed magic
daily photo: flowers
I love having flowers in the house, truly I do. But I have having to find a vase, trim the flowers and rearrange. Because I have never found a bouquet that is truly to my liking. I like simple sunflowers, but I’ve managed to hurt myself and break whatever I’m using to trim them. Plus,
celebrations: week 3 (15-21 jan 2013)
As I wrote in resolutions and traditions and celebrations, oh my1 , we’re taking a little more time for celebrations. The girls love them, and having a guide helps me try out new recipes and do more off-line crafts. This week, we managed to celebrate a few “holidays” even with the chaos of some real

What is a view worth? Decisions, decisions.
Project 41++ aka Project 42
Tomorrow, I will turn 42. I will be a day where I am “out of my comfort zone” for most of the day, so I’m not sure how happy it will be. I hope that I will have a little time for some reflection, but I have a feeling being stuck in a loud, crazy

live in concert: boxtop jenkins
At one time the girls and I were going to dozens of kindie concerts a year, traveling long distances to get to them. In the past year, we’ve been to only a handful. Between school, gymnastics and finances, we haven’t been able to get around nearly as much as we used to. Thus, when kindie

While I’m terrible at buying gifts, my sister is pretty darn good at it. For Christmas, she got Chloe his lovely game, Colorku. The concept is quite simple — sudoku in color! Tons of fun and a different way to see sudoku puzzles! Colorku from Mad Cave Bird Games

phelix files: week 6
Phelix ran his first 5K! Distracted as he was, I think he came in last, or close to last. He had a great time, no matter what! He loved grabbing a bagel at the end — but was too tired to walk all the way home after the race. Phelix had his second dog training
